Return & Refund Policy
At MTX Performance, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality performance parts and tuning services. We understand that high-performance builds require precision and the right components. If your order isn’t exactly what you need, our return policy is designed to be fair and transparent to ensure the integrity of every build we support.
1. The 30-Day Return Window
Items purchased from MTX Performance may be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

Unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.

In the original, undamaged manufacturer packaging.

Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.
2. Non-Refundable Items & Services
Due to the specialized nature of performance automotive components, certain items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

Deposits: All deposits for parts, custom builds, or shop time are strictly non-refundable.

Electrical Components: To ensure the safety and reliability of our inventory, any sensors, ECUs, wiring harnesses, or electronic modules cannot be returned once they have left our facility.

Fluids & Lubricants: For safety and contamination reasons, all oils, coolants, and chemical additives are final sale.

Sale Items: Items purchased during a clearance or "Final Sale" event.
3. Restocking Fees
All eligible returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Why? High-performance parts require meticulous inspection upon return to ensure they meet our quality standards before being placed back into inventory. This fee covers the cost of inspection, repackaging, and logistics.
4. Warranty Claims & Technical Support
We stand behind the products we sell. However, because performance parts are often installed in high-stress environments, warranty claims for defective items are subject to the following:

Certified Installation: All warranty claims must be accompanied by an original work order from a certified mechanic/technician.

Exclusions: Damage caused by improper installation, racing/track abuse, or neglect is not covered under warranty.

MTX Performance will facilitate the warranty process with the manufacturer, but the final decision on a claim rests with the manufacturer’s specific terms.
5. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact our team at sales@mtxperformance.ca.

Provide your order number and the reason for the return.

Once your return is authorized, you will be responsible for shipping the item back to us (unless the return is due to our error).

Upon receipt, our technicians will inspect the item. If it meets our "unused and uninstalled" criteria, your refund will be processed.
6. Refunds
Once your return is inspected and approved, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment.

Timeline: While we process refunds immediately upon approval, the time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends entirely on your payment provider (typically 5-10 business days).

While we process approvals quickly, bank delays can happen. If your refund hasn't appeared in your account after 15 business days, please reach out to our team at sales@mtxperformance.ca so we can track it down for you.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you received the incorrect part, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will prioritize a replacement or correction at no additional cost to you.
